In the last 18 years we have come across many customers from different fields who understand the social responsibilities and come up with products or services to serve the society. Few days back we completed modular kitchen trolley work at the house of Mr. Vijay Kulkarni and thereby, got an opportunity to know more about him. Mr. Vijay Kulkarni started his career at Hindustan Lever LTD and was posted at MP. His wife Mrs. Anagha Kulkarni, who worked for a bank was also initially posted at MP. Originally from Pune, Mr. and Mrs. Kulkarni along with their young son were in MP during the Bhopal gas tragedy at Union Carbide India Limited. Mr. Kulkarni shifted their family back to Pune where Mrs. Kulkarni got a transfer few months later. Their son now works with a bank in Switzerland and daughter is currently pursuing a fellowship in cardiac anaesthesia. In his professional career, Mr. Kulkarni started his own business in 1990 in areas of engineering products for automobile industry. After 10 years, he shifted his focus to products related to dairy and farming industry. He keenly observed the trends in the farming industry and how farmers operate and manage their cattle. In 2012, to serve the dairy industry he started assembly of his own milking machine. Since then, he has been continuously working on making the milking machine and in turn farmers further efficient. He has been exploring the best milking machine components nationally as well as internationally (Italy, China, Turkey etc.) and is committed to providing the best milking machine to the farming sector. This has been the turning point in his professional life. He founded “Millennium Engineering Services” providing best quality milking machines under the brand name “KRUSHNAI” and became farmer’s true friend. We have seen many individuals hesitating in starting their own venture but Mr. Kulkarni is in his young sixties and has embarked on a career as an entrepreneur. Till date he has supported more than 1, 000 farmers to increase their profitability by delivering the best in class “KRUSHNAI MILKING MACHINE”.
